Sonipat: The sugar output of the Cooperative sugar mill, Sonipat, was not up to the mark despite the increase in the crushing of the mill this season, reports Haribhoomi.
The mill in the previous had produced 3,00,300 lakh quintal sugar whereas in current season the mill could produce only 2,76,000 quintal sugar.
The mill began crushing operations for the 2021-22 season one week ahead. The crushing capacity of the mill is 22,000 quintals but the mill could not operate at full capacity during the season. The technical ghlitches has also affected the crushing.
