Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh: The district administration held consultations with officials and farmer organizations in the meeting to start crushing session in sugar mills. It was decided in the meeting that from October 27, Morna sugar mill will start cane crushing.
In a meeting held at the District Sugarcane Officer Office, BKU spokesperson Rakesh Tikait said that all sugar mills should start operations this month only and cane dues need to be cleared before commencing the season.
