Nepal government to arrest sugar millers for not paying cane dues

Kathmandu: Nepal government seems to be stern over pending cane dues as it has decided to arrest the sugar millers that are not paying cane dues.

According to the media report, the decision was taken in the meeting held by Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Baal’ on Tuesday.

The meeting was attended by several ministers and the secretaries of the concerned ministries.

The government took a decision as the sugarcane farmers are agitating at Maitighar in Kathmandu since Sunday for their pending cane dues.
