NSI and Advanta partner to study sweet sorghum, grain sorghum for multi-yield alcoholic products

Kanpur: The National Sugar Institute (NSI) in Kanpur and Advanta Seeds from Hyderabad signed an agreement on Thursday, reported The Times of India.

The NSI director, Dr Swain, and Dr Seema Paroha, along with Dr Vilas Tonapi from Advanta Seeds, were present, along with other officials.

The agreement means that NSI and Advanta Seeds will work together to study sweet sorghum and grain sorghum for multi-yield alcoholic products. This will include study of various physicochemical parameters of harvested sweet sorghum sown at NSI farm.
