NSI to organize ‘Executive Development Programme’ for senior officials from sugar and allied industries

National Sugar Institute, Kanpur shall organize “Executive Development Programme” on virtual platform from 23rd to 25th August 2022. The programme is being conducted for senior officials from sugar, alcohol and allied units and such officials from reputed units from India and overseas shall attend the same.

We have kept the number of seats limited to one hundred only and apart from our own country, delegates from Indonesia, Nigeria, Kenya and Nepal are likely to attend the programme, said Prof. Narendra Mohan, Director, National Sugar Institute, Kanpur. We are organizing this programme every year and has proved to be of immense utility for the sugar and allied industry and this is the reason why we get overwhelming response from the industry across the globe, said Prof. Mohan.

While the programme shall be inaugurated by Shri Sudhanshu Pandey, Secretary (Food & Public Distribution), Government of India, lectures shall be delivered by institute faculty and eminent experts from other organizations too for delivering lectures on the topics related to project management, improving productivity at work place, modelling of sugar industry, production of green energy, diversifications and sugar consumption patterns.

We have invited Mr. Arvind Chudasama, Editor in Chief, International Sugar Journal, London to talk about sugar production-consumption scenario and investment patterns in sugar industry globally. An interesting talk shall also be delivered by Dr. Wirat Vanicsriratna, Kasetsart University, Thailand on production of bio-plastic from bagasse. Prof. Narendra Mohan, Director, National Sugar Institute himself shall deliver a lecture on “Self Sustainable Model of Sugar Industry”.
