Pakistan to export 32,000 MT of sugar

Islamabad: The Pakistan government has decided to allow an extension of 60 days for the sugar mills in Sindh to export a sugar quota of 32,000 MT, according to nation.

The decision was taken by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet on Friday.

Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue chaired the meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet.

The ECC has allowed the sugar mills in Sindh to export the remaining sugar quota of 32,000 MT within 60 days effective from June 12, as per the decision of the Sindh High Court.
