Puranpur (Pilibhit): A truck carrying sugarcane overturned on Mathana-Shahgad road that resulted in the traffic jam. However, no casualty was reported in the incident.
The harvested sugarcane was spread on the road that led to the traffic jam on the route.
The road was cleared after the sugarcane was collected and filled in the other truck. The situation turned to normalcy after the road was cleared.
With the commencement of sugarcane crushing season, accident cases are on the rise. The administration has also asked drivers to take all precautions while carry cane to the mill.
