Mumbai: Sensex today on January 15 was trading 190.81 points lower at 41,761.82. Similarly NSE Nifty was trading 53.15 points down at 12,309.15.
Similarly, at 10:15 am, Sensex was trading at 41,731.64 points, and Nifty was trading at 12,293.95.
Tritan, Hero MotoCorp, Tech Mahindra, Nestle and Sun Pharma were the top gainer in the Sensex pack. On the other hand, IndusInd Bank, Tata Steel, UltraTech Cement, SBI, Infosys, Axis Bank and ICICI Bank were top losers.
On the currency front, the rupee depreciated 8 paise to 70.96 against the US dollar in morning session.
