Indian benchmark indices ended higher on March 4.
Sensex ended 66.14 points higher at 73,872.29, whereas Nifty concluded 27.20 points up at 22,405.60.
On the stock-specific front, NTPC, HDFC Life and Power Grid were the top gainers while JSW Steel, Eicher Motors and M&M were the worst hit.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 1,245.05 points higher at 73,745.35, whereas Nifty concluded 355.95 points up at 22,338.75.
