Mumbai, Jun 10 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Monday rallied by 170.23 points to 39,786.13 in early trade following gains in Materials, Telecom, Utilities, Auto and Capital Goods.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) also moved up by 44 points to trade at 11,914.65.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 39,979.48 and 39,757.97 respectively.
The NSE registered intra day high and low at 11,975.05 and 11,909.60 respectively.
The sectoral indices include Realty, Oil and Gas, Realty and Utilities kept the market high, broker informed.
The gainers were Tata Steel by 1.98 pc to Rs 491.70, TCS by 1.55 pc to Rs 2212.70, Infosys by 1.44 pc to Rs 750 and HCL Technology by 1.28 pc to Rs 1093.
The losers were Kotak Bank by 1.27 pc to Rs 1493.10, Yes Bank by 1.07 pc to Rs 138.45, Coal India by 0.81 pc to Rs 262.85 and Tata Motors DVR by 0.74 pc to Rs 80.90.
