Mumbai: Sensex on 6th September 2019 ended 337.35 points higher at 36,981.77. Similarly, NSE Nifty ended 98.30 up at 10,946.20.
Eicher Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Tech Mahindra, Tata Steel and Axis Bank were among the top gainers today.
Top losers included Indiabulls Housing, Sun Pharma, Yes Bank, Wipro and HCL Tech.
In the previous season on Thursday Sensex ended 80.32 points lower at 36,644.42. Similarly, Nifty ended 3.25 up at 10,847.90.
The rupee was trading at 71.71 against the dollar.
