Sensex up by 227.71 points

Mumbai, May 14 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Tuesday ended positive at 37,318.53, up by 227.71 points, snapping a losing streak of nine sessions led by gains in Sun Pharma, Bharti Airtel, SBI and IndusInd

Bank stocks.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too moved up by 73.85 points at 11,222.05.

The Sensex registered the day’s high and low at 37,572.70 and 36,956.10 points respectively.

The Nifty registered day’s high and low at 11,294.75 and 11,108.30 points, respectively.
