Shahabad sugar mill’s ethanol plant will become operational from New Year

Shahabad: Newly appointed managing director of Shahabad Cooperative Sugar Mill, Virendra Chaudhary, said that the ethanol plant with a production capacity of 60 KLPD to be built at a cost of Rs 99 crore will start functioning by 21 January 2021.

According to the media report, he said, “The ethanol plant will help the mill to increase its earnings that will benefit sugarcane farmers. We are planning to start cane crushing for the upcoming season from the first week of November.”
