Sugar mill in Thailand closed after workers found infected with Covid-19

Phetchabun: Provincial communicable disease committee announced that after 90 workers were found infected Covid-19, a sugar mill located in Si Thep district closed its operations for seven days.

The workers were found infected during the visit of the health officials at the factory on Sunday. The infected workers were admitted to Si Thep Hospital for treatment and the others placed in home quarantine.

The 14-day lockdown has been imposed in the Moo 9 village in Tambom Si Thep where the factory has been located.
