Sugar mill management assures to clear workers’ pending salary

Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh: The employees of the Puranpur cooperative sugar mill agreed to resume work after the mill administration agreed to pay their salaries before Diwali. The workers resumed duty from Wednesday.

According to the news report published in Jagran.com, the workers had boycotted the work from Tuesday for their demand of pending wages. The workers included temporary, on muster roll and daily wages workers. The workers claimed that they have not received salaries for the last three months and financial problems due to its delay.
