Sugar prices rise by 57 per cent in Economic European Union

Yerevan: The prices of sugar reached to peak across the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) in January 2021. According to the statistical data, sugar prices have increased by 56.9% in January this year as compared to the same month in the previous year.

A senior official of the Eurasian Economic Commission said, “The prices of sugar have increased most when compared with other commodities like potatoes and sunflower oil.”

The prices of goods and services in EEU have increased by 0.7% compared with December 2020.
