Sugar production in Brazil increased in second half of November

Sao Paulo: Sugarcane crushing in the second half of November in Brazil reported at 16.23 million tonnes, up by 318.75% from last year, said Industry group Unica, reports Reuters.

The sugar production increased by 532.3% to 1.03 million tonnes while ethanol production was 887.26 million litres, up by 148%.
The ethanol data includes fuel manufactured using corn.
