New Delhi: Sugar stocks were trading in red on Wednesday as the Nifty and Sensex were trading lower at 10.50 AM.
The top losers among sugar stocks were K. M. Sugar Mills (down 5.88%), DCM Shriram (down 5.00%), Dharani Sugars & Chemicals (down 4.86%), BAJAJHIND (down 4.58%), Triveni Engineering & Industries (down 4.05%), Ponni Sugars (Erode) (down 3.55%), Simbhaoli Sugars (down 5.00%), Ugar Sugar Works (down 4.95%), Uttam Sugar Mills (down 4.79%) and Sakthi Sugars (down 4.56%).
At around 10.50 AM, the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 394.72 points and trading at 53970.13, and the NSE Nifty50 index was trading 111.95 points down at 16128.1.
