Three workers of sugar mill tested positive for Covid-19

Doiwala: Coronavirus infection is increasing in India and now the rural area is also under its grip. Tension in the Doiwala sugar mill premises has increased as the three workers of the mill have been tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.

Kunwar Singh Bhandari, medical superintendent of Doiwala health centre said that three employees associated with the Doiwala sugar mill have been tested positive for Covid-19. They have been isolated in their homes. The employees that have come in contact with these employees are also being tested as a precautionary measure.

India recorded 3,46,786 new Covid-19 cases today, the highest single-day spike since the pandemic broke out last year. According to the official data issued by the Union Health Ministry, the country has recorded 2,624 new deaths due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
