Uploading of ID is no longer necessary for registered cane farmers while filling online declaration form

Lucknow: In view of the farmer’s suggestions given on departmental toll-free number, the process of filling online declaration form on the ERP website-enquiry.caneup.in has been further simplified to facilitate the farmers. This simplification will save the time and efforts of farmers in filling the online declaration form.

Additional Chief Secretary, Sugar Industry and Cane Development, Sanjay R. Bhoosreddy, informed that under the Smart Ganna Kisan (SGK) Project, cane farmers are currently filling their online declaration forms conveniently. It was informed by the departmental officers and farmers on the department’s toll-free number 1800-121-3203, that since a huge number of farmers are filling the declaration form daily causing slowdown of website, due to which filling online declaration form has become a time consuming process process.

Shri Bhoosreddy said that taking quick cognizance of this problem of cane farmers, immediate discussions were held with the departmental officers and service provider of the SGK project and after the discussions the process of membership and filling of online declaration form has been further simplified. Now farmers do not need to upload their ID to login on the SGK website, and they can easily login by entering last four digits of their Aadhar number or bank account number followed by their registered mobile number. If the farmer’s Aadhaar number, bank account number and mobile number are not registered, then the farmers will have to contact their Cooperative Cane societies to get them registered.

With this decision, the registered cane farmers will be highly facilitated, where as in the past Aadhar card, I.D. was necessary to be uploaded for login, now it will not be needed and as a result of this farmer’s efforts and time will be saved. Due to reduced load on the server of the website, the speed of the website will also become faster, and all the work of farmers that is related to the website will be completed faster. It is also noteworthy that last week, the compulsory arrangement of uploading “Khatauni” as a proof of land revenue has been stopped in the interest of farmers.
