India to send sugar to Maldives

New Delhi: Coronavirus has impacted many countries around and during this crisis, India is extending support to them by providing medicines, and other essential items.

As a part of India’s mission sagar, the country will send food items including 80 tonnes of sugar to the Maldives.

According to news portal Wion, within a week’s time, India’s envoy to Maldives Sunjay Sudhir said, “We will be gifting 580 tonnes of essential food items including wheat, flour, eggs, sugar, potatoes and onions to the government of Maldives.
