AP Chief Minister asks officials to work on reviving sugar mills in cooperative sector

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh government wants to uplift the sugar industry in the state. Therefore, now the state government is mulling to revive the sugar mills.

At a review meeting held in his camp office at Tadepalli near on Friday night, the Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy said that sugar mills in the cooperative sector should be revived and asked the officials to work in this direction.

He also said that the dues of sugar mills around Rs 54.6 crores would be cleared by July 8.
