Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar’s independent director Madhav Laxman Apte resigns

New Delhi: Sugar firm Bajaj Hindusthan’s independent director Madhav Laxman Apte has resigned from his post. He cited health ground for his resignation.

“Received resignation letter from Madhav Laxman Apte from the post of independent director vide letter dated August 14, 2019” company said in a filing to the BSE.

Apte has cited “age and health reasons” for tendering his resignation, company added in a filing.

Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar operates 14 sugar mills in Uttar Pradesh. They have a crushing capacity of 1.36 lakh tonne per day.
