Sugarcane farmers from Belize will be getting the relief money which was awaited from last one year.
According to the media report, Godwin Hulse, the Minister of Food and Agriculture said that the payment through the voucher would be done by October end to the cane farmers.
The first tranche of the disbursements will benefit over three thousand farmers. He said, “Overall sugarcane farmers will be paid close to US$5 million dollars in relief from this program.”
