Bihar will become ethanol hub in the country: Minister Shahnawaz Hussain

Patna: Stating that Bihar has become the first state in the country to unveil Ethanol production promotion policy, Industries Minister Shahnawaz Hussain said that the state would soon emerge as the ethanol hub of the country.

He was speaking while launching the Ethanol Production Promotion Policy 2021 on Friday. Bihar is the first state to have such a policy in the country.

“This is the most attractive policy attracting investors to set up ethanol production units in the state. The Minister said that about 25 to 30 proposals of setting up ethanol production units in the state had been received so far, which would have production capacity of 50 Crores litres of Ethanol.
