Pending cane dues: BKU (Asli) to organise Panchayat on August 20

Hasanpur, Uttar Pradesh: Bhartiya Kisan Union (Asli) has decided to organise a Panchayat of cane farmers on August 20 over the delay in pending cane dues.

According to the news report published in Livehindustan.com, Chaudhari Harpal Singh, president of the organisation will address the farmers at the Panchayat scheduled to organise in the premises of the Kisan Sugar Mill.

The delegation of the farmers submitted the memorandum in this regard to the SDM office on Monday.

Chaudhari Samarpal Singh, taluka head of the organisation said that the farmers have not received the cane dues of the last crushing season. Farmers are facing a financial crisis.
