State wise prices today
◾ Maharashtra:S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹3210 to ₹3310/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3275 to 3375/Qntl.
◾ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3325 to 3385/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3370 to 3435/Qntl.
◾ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 were at ₹3660 to 3700/Qntl.
◾ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3371 to 3481/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3481 to 3561/Qntl.
◾ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3475 to 3600/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3540 to 3650/Qntl.

Market Today:
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $516.30/ton whereas the New York Sugar front month contract is trading at 19.95/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices:
The rupee traded against the US dollar whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.4955 Crude futures traded at Rs.6113 Crude WTI traded at $82.44 a barrel. Sensex closed 112.16 points lower at 60,433.45 whereas Nifty ended 24.30 points lower at 18,044.25.
