Domestic Market
Domestic sugar prices were stable
After a weakness over the last 3-4 sessions, domestic sugar prices remained steady. With the crushing progressing well, buyers remained cautious, anticipating ample supplies in the coming weeks.
In the key physical markets, prices also reflected this softer sentiment. M-grade sugar in Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh) was quoted between тВ╣3,950 and тВ╣4,060 per quintal. Meanwhile, S-grade sugar in Kolhapur (Maharashtra) traded in the range of тВ╣3,650тАУтВ╣3,700 per quintal, marking a continued mild decline in spot values. Overall, the market remains under slight pressure, driven primarily by the ongoing crush and expectations of comfortable supply ahead.

International Market
At the time of writing this update London White Sugar #The 5 front month contract is trading at $427.90 ton, whereas the New York Sugar # 11 The front month contract is trading at 15.10 c/lb. The corn futures market trades at 444-4 and the ethanol Chicago trades at 1.66000s.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices
The rupee traded against the US dollar at 90.639 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.4111 Crude WTI traded at $57.53 a barrel. Sensex closed 449.53 points up at 85,267.66 whereas Nifty closed 148.40 points higher at 26,046.95.
