State wise prices today
◾ Maharashtra:S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹3210 to ₹3260/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3300 to 3350/Qntl.
◾ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3305 to 3350/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3400 to 3450/Qntl.
◾ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 were at ₹3440 to 3470/Qntl.
◾ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3295 to 3411/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3361 to 3511/Qntl.
◾ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3450 to 3550/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3500 to 3550/Qntl.

International Market Today:
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $498.90/ton whereas the New York Sugar front month contract is trading at 19.13/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices:
The rupee traded against the US dollar whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.7120, Crude futures traded at Rs.5399, Crude WTI traded at $70.86 a barrel. Sensex closed 889.40 points lower at 57,011.74 whereas Nifty ended 263.20 points higher at 16,985.20
