State wise prices today
◾ Maharashtra:S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹3325 to ₹3375/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3400 to 3475/Qntl.
◾ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3360 to 3440/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3450 to 3500/Qntl.
◾ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 were at ₹3675 to 3750/Qntl.
◾ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3371 to 3511/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3481 to 3601
◾ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3575 to 3640/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3625 to 3675/Qntl.

International Market:
Yesterday’s Closing:
Yesterday sugar sugar prices were under pressure. London White Sugar closed at $507.30/ton down $12.70 whereas New York Sugar at 19.29 cents per pound down closed 0.51 points
Market Today:
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $503.20/ton whereas the New York Sugar front month contract is trading at 19.15/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices:
The rupee traded against the US dollar at 75.102 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.5449 Crude futures traded at Rs.6249 Crude WTI traded at $82.20 a barrel. Sensex closed 49.54 points lower at 61,716.05 whereas Nifty ended 58.30 points lower at 18,418.75.
