โพ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were โน3250 to 3355/Qntl. whereas M/30 โน3270 to 3335/Qntl.
โพ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 were at โน3500 to 3520/Qntl.
โพ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are โน3241 to 3301/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at โน3341 to 3401/Qntl.
โพ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are โน3400 to 3450/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at โน3450 to 3500/Qntl.

The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $506.80/ton whereas the New York Sugar front month contract is trading at 19.74/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices:
The rupee traded against the US dollar whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.5967 Crude futures traded at Rs.5640 Crude WTI traded at $74.340 a barrel. Sensex closed 1170.12 points lower at 58,465.89 whereas Nifty ended 348.35 points lower at 17,416.55.
