Sugar Market Scenario:
The market witnessed moderate demand.
State wise prices today
◾ Maharashtra:S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹3180 to ₹3230/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3250 to 3350/Qntl.
◾ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3270 to 3330/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3220 to 3330/Qntl.
◾ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 were at ₹3480 to 3510/Qntl.
◾ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3221 to 3281/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3321 to 3381/Qntl.
◾ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3400 to 3450/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3450 to 3500/Qntl.

International Market:
Yesterday’s Closing:
Yesterday sugar prices closed higher on the outlook of Brazilian sugar. London White Sugar closed up
$10.40 at $518.40/ton whereas New York Sugar closed at 20.11 cents per pound up 0.35 points.
Market Today:
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $517.30/ton whereas the New York Sugar front month contract is trading at 19.70/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices:
The rupee traded against the US dollar whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.5875, Crude futures traded at Rs.5847 Crude WTI traded at $78.37 a barrel. Sensex closed 323.34 points lower at 58,340.99 whereas Nifty ended 88.30 points lower at 17,415.05.
