Beed: A truck driver died in a road accident after a truck carrying sugar fell into the 10-feet pit at Sautada ghat in Beed district.
The deceased has been identified as Layak Shabbir Pathan.
According to the media report, Pathan was carrying sugar from sugar mill, Ambajogai to Panvel. When the truck reached Soutada ghat in Patoda taluka, he could not judge the road and the truck went into a pit. In this accident, cleaner managed to escape and he survived, whereas the driver died.
