Cairo: According to traders who spoke to Reuters on Monday, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC), Egypt’s state grains buyer, is reported to have procured 150,000 metric tonnes of raw sugar in a recent tender.
GASC has indicated that it is currently in the process of evaluating offers on Monday, with traders suggesting the likelihood of additional purchases shortly.
