Patna: Bihar is taking lead in setting up industries to boost the growth and our main focus is to set up as many ethanol plants as we can, said Bihar Industry Minister Shahnawaz Hussain.
According to the news report published in Indian Express, he said, “We have 16 plants lined up and many more proposals are at different stages of clearance. Ethanol plants can write Bihar industry’s turnaround story.”
“We have relaxed norms with a single-window system for promoting industries. We expect to set up more ethanol-producing industries in the state in the upcoming years,” the minister added.
Bihar aims to become a hub for ethanol production and also taking steps to attract investment for the sector. Many companies have recently shown interest in setting up ethanol plants in the state.
