Haryana government decides to appoint experts to rescue cooperative sugar mills from deficit

Chandigarh: Haryana government aims to improve the current situation of the cooperative sugar mills in the state. According to the reports, experts in the field of sugar mills will be appointed in the cooperative sugar mills to rescue the cooperative sugar mills from a deficit.

Dr Banwari Lal, Haryana co-operative minister, while interacting with the media persons on Wednesday said, “For this the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) in the co-operative sugar mills of Palwal, Assandh and Meham will be appointed.”

“In the first phase, the CEOs, who have knowledge and experience related to sugar mills will be appointed in the cooperative sugar mills of Palwal, Assandh and Meham in place of HCS officers. They will give suggestions to rescue the state’s cooperative sugar mills from the losses and help mills to improve through upgradation”, he further added.
