The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has issued environmental clearance to Jagatjit Industries Limited to set up a 200 KLPD Grain-based ethanol distillery plant.
The company has been granted permission to set up an ethanol plant under the provisions of the EIA Notification, 2006 along with allowing it to set up a 6.0 MW Co-generation power plant (Biomass based) at the company’s unit in Jagatjit Nagar, Hamira village in Kapurthala district.
