Nanauta, Uttar Pradesh: Following the shortage of sugarcane for crushing, the Kisan cooperative sugar mill will be closing its operations on May 9.
Dr. Prashant Kumar, chief manager of the sugar mill, said that the mill is not operating at full to its capacity for the last few days due to a shortage of sugarcane. We are purchasing a cane at the mill gate. We have urged the cane farmers to send their cane as we will close our operations after 4 pm on May 9.
