Gonda, Uttar Pradesh: Balrampur Chini Mill Group has been conferred with a Lifetime Achievement Award for contribution towards the sugar industry of India and the state of Uttar Pradesh.
The award was declared posthumously to the founder of the group, late Padma Shri Meenakshi Saraogi. Honorable Chief Minister of U.P, Yogi Adityanath, handed over the award to her grand daughter Avantika Saraogi, Business Lead and Promoter of the group, at Lucknow on Friday.
The award was given by CM during an event organized by UP Sugar Mills Association (UPSMA) to celebrate 120 years of establishment of the first sugar mill in the state.
During the occasion, Avantika Saraogi assured to the continue the legacy and contribution of her Grandmother towards sugar industry.
