Maharashtra government’s relief package for rain-affected farmers is not enough: Pankaja Munde

Aurangabad: The flood relief package of Rs 10,000 crore declared by the Maharashtra government is not enough for the farmers, said BJP leader Pankaja Munde.

According to the media report, addressing the online rally on the occasion of Dussehra from Bhagwan Bhaktigad in Beed district, she said that the crops including sugarcane, cotton, rice and soybean have been damaged and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray should come up with the bigger package to help farmers.

Commenting on a deadlock between sugar mills and workers over various issues, she said NCP chief Sharad Pawar must find a way out.
