Kurukshetra: Ethanol plant set up at Shahabad cooperative sugar mill in Kurukshetra district was virtually inaugurated on Monday by chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar. The capacity of the plant is 60 KLPD (Kilo litre per day).
The ethanol plant will change the financial situation of the sugar mill and will be a revolutionary step in the sector, said CM during the inauguration. The plant will generate direct and indirect employment for the youths, he said.
Praising the functioning of Shahabad Cooperative Sugar Mill, Haryana CM had virtually announced to establish at 30 KLPD ethanol plant on June 6, 2016, under the Swaran Jayanti Scheme.
