Mumbai: Sensex on Wednesday was trading, at 74.04 points higher at 40,313.92. Similarly, Nifty was trading 29.50 points up at 11,886.30.
Similarly, at 10:15 am, Sensex was trading at 40406.40 points, and Nifty was trading at 11902.25 points.
ICICI Bank, M&M, ITC, Bajaj Finance, TCS, Tata Steel, NTPC, L&T, and HDFC were among the top gainers today on Nifty. While Yes Bank, SBI, HUL, PowerGrid, Reliance, Bharti Airtel, Vedants and HeroMotoCorp were among the top losers today.
On the currency front, the rupee appreciated by 8 paise to 70.84 in early session.
