Kaptanganj, Uttar Pradesh: MLA Ramanand Baudh has warned that if the Kaptanganj sugar mill fails to clear pending cane arrears of sugarcane farmers then he will raise the issue in the state assembly. He said that the mill owes more than Rs 64 crores for season 2019-20.
He recently conducted a meeting with the DCO and AGM of the sugar mill at and discussed the issue.
Over pending cane arrears, UP government claims they are also taking various steps. UP CM Yogi Adityanath has already instructed the officials to ensure payment of pending cane dues.
