Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed, on March 30, 740.34 points higher at 58,683.99. Nifty ended 172.95 points higher at 17,498.25.
In the previous season, Sensex closed, on March 29, 350.16 points higher at 57,943.65. Nifty ended 103.30 points higher at 17,325.30.
Bajaj Finserv, HDFC Life, Tata Consumer Products, Bajaj Finance and Hero MotoCorp were among the top Nifty gainers. However, top losers included ONGC, Hindalco, JSW Steel, ITC and Tata Steel.
