Now Bio products will be produced on a large scale at Seorahi and Muzaffarnagar centers of UP Sugarcane Research Council: Sanjay Bhoosreddy

Lucknow: A review meeting of Sugarcane Research Council, Shahjahanpur was held in the Meeting hall of Cane Commissioner’s Office, Lucknow, Under the Chairmanship of Sanjay R. Bhoosreddy, Additional Chief Secretary, Sugar Industry and Cane Development Department. An intensive review was done in the review meeting, by Additional Chief Secretary, related to the ongoing disciplinary proceedings, pending litigation, liabilities of retired personnel, production of bio-products and progress of seed production program etc.

During the review meeting, instructions were given by Additional Chief Secretary to the Director of Sugarcane Research Council UP and other Senior Scientists that now On the lines of Sugarcane Research Council Shahjahanpur, Seorahi and Muzaffarnagar centres of U.P.CSR will also start production of organic products, like Trichoderma, Vaberia, Basiana, Metarhizium anisoply, Organode composer as well as Trichocard, Azotobacter and PSB, to facilitate the Sugarcane farmers of the State.

Expressing displeasure over the non-payment of dues of retired employees, Shri Bhoosreddy directed to make timely payment of their dues. He also directed that before the date of retirement of the employees, all the formalities should be completed and all their dues should be paid on the day of retirement. In the review meeting, he also directed that in those pending cases before Hon’ble Court, in which dues have been paid to the petitioner employees, then please get them disposed off through proper process.

In order to make availability of the seed of new cane varieties to the farmers, the Additional Chief Secretary said that the new technology of seed production like tissue culture etc. should be adopted, so that more and more farmers would get the seeds. He said to the scientists of Research Council that all Research work should be in the interest of farmer, so that new technologies can be made available to the farmers of the State and the yields can be increased along with reducing the cost of production In the Review meeting, Director of Sugarcane Research Council, Shahjahanpur Dr. J. Singh, Additional Cane Commissioner Y S Malik, VK Shukla, R.P. Yadav and All the scientists of UPCSR were present.
