PM Modi’s power-packed visit to Telangana set for October

New Delhi [India], September 27 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit the election-bound state of Telangana, and address public rallies in Hyderabad and Nizamabad, BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh said on Thursday.

Chugh expressed the significance of the Prime Minister’s visit, saying, “This visit by PM Narendra Modi is of great importance. People are already excited to listen to him. The people of Telangana hold Prime Minister Modi in high regard.”

The National General Secretary emphasized the satisfaction of the Telangana populace with the welfare schemes introduced by the Modi government. He said, “The people of Telangana are fed up of political dynasties, arrogance and dictatorship. They place their trust in the Modi government and are highly content with the welfare schemes implemented for them. They have resolved to remove KCR from Telangana.”

When asked about the impact of the new responsibilities assigned to former BJP Telangana Chief Sanjay Bandi and G Kishan Reddy on the upcoming elections, Chugh asserted that they function as a team under the leadership of PM Modi.

“We work as a unified team. PM Modi is our leader, and we operate under his guidance as our captain. There is no discord within us and we will perform better in Telangana,” he said.

Recently, the BJP leadership made changes within the Telangana party unit.

Union Tourism and Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy assumed the role of President of the Telangana BJP, replacing Bandi Sanjay.

Another significant change involved the appointment of Etela Rajender, the MLA from Huzurabad, as the Chairman of the Election Management Committee.

Notably, this marks the fourth time that Kishan Reddy has been entrusted with leading the state BJP unit. (ANI)
