Saharanpur: Sugar mills in the district are taking steps to clear the pending cane dues for the 2020-21 crushing season.
Sarsawa and Nanauta sugar mills cleared cane dues worth Rs 15.46 crore to the cane farmers on Friday.
According to the news report published in Livehindustan.com, with this the mills have cleared 100 per cent cane dues for the 2020-21 season.
Gagnauli sugar mill cleared dues worth Rs 1.25 crore to the cane farmers.
District Cane officer K M M Tripathi said, “These three mills have cleared the pending cane dues of the cane farmers. Others mill will follow them soon.”
