Equity Indices ended lower today. On July 5, Sensex closed 100.42 points lower at 53,134.35. Nifty ended 24.50 points lower at 15,810.85.
In the previous season, on July 4, Sensex closed 326.84 points higher at 53,234.77. Nifty ended 83.30 points higher at 15,835.35.
Power Grid Corporation, Shree Cements, Hindalco Industries, Apollo Hospitals and Bajaj Finserv were among the top Nifty gainers. ITC, Wipro, HDFC Life, Britannia Industries and Maruti Suzuki were among the losers on the index.
