Mumbai: Sensex closed on March 18, 2020 at 1,709.58 points lower at 28,869.51. Similarly, Nifty ended 425.55 points low at 8,541.50.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on March 17, 2020 at 810.98 points lower at 30,579.09. Similarly, Nifty ended 230.70 points low at 8,966.70.
Zee Entertainment, ONGC, Yes Bank, ITC and SBI were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were IndusInd Bank, Bharti Infratel, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bajaj Finance and Power Grid Corp.
