Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended higher on Tuesday. Sensex closed on July 7, 2020 at 187.24 points higher at 36,674.52. Nifty ended 36.00 points high at 10,799.65.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on July 6, 2020 at 465.86 points higher at 36,487.28. Nifty ended 156.30 points high at 10,763.65.
Bajaj Finance, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finserv, Infosys and ICICI Bank were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Adani Ports, Power Grid Corp, ITC, NTPC and Grasim Industries.
